Apprenticeships at Coca-Cola

In the spirit of empowering our youth by offering unique opportunities to ensure they succeed in life, the Coca-Cola “Pay It Forward” program uncaps a world of possibilities for today’s young people by offering once-in-a-lifetime apprenticeship experiences. This year, we have enlisted comedian, author, philanthropist and media mogul Steve Harvey as our celebrity history maker.  Steve, along with his team at the Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation,  will offer apprenticeship experiences to two young people interested in learning about the philanthropic and entertainment industries. Each youth will receive a $5,000 scholarship to help them further realize their academic and professional aspirations.

To be a part of this amazing opportunity, young people between the ages of 16 – 21 must be nominated by a parent, relative, teacher, mentor, friend, member of the community or they can self-nominate by visitingwww.coke.com/payitforward. Nominations can be submitted January 6 through March 15. These apprenticeship experiences could be life-changing for the selected youth and are sure to inspire them to become the next generation of history makers. We’re looking to reach out to every corner of the community for nominations and I invite your support in helping to get the word out.  Please encourage your family, friends, community partners and others to nominate deserving youth by sharing the attached information via email and/or your social media channels.

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions that you may have.

Best Regards,
