When Hurricane Katrina pounded New Orleans in August 2005, Davis and his family took in more than 20 relatives who were either out of a home, job or both.
“A lot of people got wiped out by Katrina and the Saints have been one of the things that has kept the city up,” he said. “The team is kind of in its heyday right now with Sean Payton and Drew Brees. Everything stops on Sunday when the Saints are playing.”
