I couldn’t get to today’s city council meeting in time to hear the budget message to the library, but as I was walking up to city hall the library crew was walking out looking like the Chester Clippers boy's basketball team after they lost the State Championship game last year.
No one wanted to talk at length. All they kept repeating was that the city took all the money.
Apparently, city council has determined that the city will not make any contribution to the library in 2014. $0. Zilch. Nodda. Naught.
We’ll be waiting for the Daily Times article for details.
They should be ashamed of themselves!:(
