Salvation Army Chester Corp to Host Range of Fun Events for the Whole Family on June 7-9

The Salvation Army Chester Corps will present several free events for children, teenagers and adults at the Salvation Army’s Community Center,151 West 15th Streetin Chester, during the weekend of June 7-9.

On June 7, the Salvation Army will host a Teen Night beginning at 6 p.m. Activities will include basketball, volleyball, video games, prayer, food, music, fellowship and much more.

A flea market will be held on June 8 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Members of the community are invited to participate as vendors or shoppers. Pre-registration is $20 per space and $5 for a table. On the day of the event, the cost will be $25 per space and $10 for a table.

Following the flea market, a Family Fun Day will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. The entire family can enjoy a bounce house, carnival-type games, prizes, food, music and more.

Finally, the Salvation Army will host revival meetings at 6 p.m. on June 8 and then again at 11 a.m. on June 9. All are invited to participate in these services.

The Salvation Army Chester Corps offers a range of services to help people in Chester and beyond, including youth services, family counseling services, a meal program, an overnight warming center and worship services.
