Philadelphia Soul Coach To Honor Chester Community Charter School Student-Athletes at Banquet


On Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Clarion Hotel in Essington, PA, Chester Community Charter School (CCCS), the largest K-8 charter school in Pennsylvania, will honor more than 50 baseball, basketball, and cheerleading student-athletes and coaches for their participation in the 2012-2013 season, at the annual sports banquet and dinner. 

Remarks will be given by Hon. Judge Spencer B. Seaton, Jr., chairman of the board of directors, Chester Community Charter School, with the keynote address delivered by Hollis Thomas, defensive line coach for the Arena Football League’s Philadelphia Soul, radio personality on Sportsradio 94.1 WIP, and former Philadelphia Eagles’ defensive tackle.

Additionally, 70 Chester Community Charter School parents, faculty, and administrators are expected to attend.

Dr. David Clark, CEO, Chester Community Charter School, says, “Our athletic coaches teach our students the importance of excellent sportsmanship and a healthy and active lifestyle, while still maintaining outstanding grades in school. Chester Community Charter School student-athletes exemplify these qualities and more. We are proud to honor their hard work and dedication this season.”

  1. Kudos to all the children who will be honored and congratulatulations to the parents. Also on May 30th @ the Clarion Hotel in Essington CCCS will hold their Parent Award Dinner.
