Student Art Show

At the “Raw Gallery Space,” run by Art on the Avenue of the States at 504 Avenue of the States, located in downtown Chester.

Attention parents and art teachers: Hurry, there is still time to submit your student’s art work to this artists co-op.

Entry to the art show is free and prizes will be awarded. All grades in elementary and high school are eligible. We will accept all forms of two dimensional art including photography.

Please choose your best art students work and deliver it to 504 Avenue of the States in Chester, PA on Saturday March 16 11:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. (Parents may also bring individual work on Saturday.) If you need to make other arrangements, contact Linda Braceland.

Please label all work on the back with NAME, AGE, SCHOOL, and price if it is for sale.Also include art teacher’s name and contact information.

Come out and support area youth and celebrate their artistic endeavors!

6:30 – Awarding of Prizes

There will be refreshments and music at this event.

Prizes: First, Second, Third, and Honorable Mentions in both elementary and high school categories.
The gallery will be open to the public Wed. – Fri. 11 A.M. – 3 P.M. until April 19.

Don’t miss this opportunity to view this special exhibition, meet some of the student artists, and network with fellow business leaders.

ABOUT THE GALLERY: The “Raw Space,” as the gallery is currently called, is conveniently located at 504 Avenue of the States, the main avenue of Chester, a short drive from Interstate 95, with plenty of nearby free parking.

Members of the gallery hail from city of Chester as well as from the Tri-State region. They include professional painters, photographers, and sculptors as well as self-taught artists who work in artistic fields such as graphic designers, illustrators, journalists and editors. All the artists are committed to bringing art to the community and making the city of Chester a viable place. Come out and support their efforts!
