The 5th Annual Art Show & Sale is a tribute to Andrew Turner and Chester Artists. Andrew Turner was a Chester native and renowned visual artist whose art works since his passing are sought by art collectors from everywhere.
Many of his art works will be on display and some offered for sale by Michael Gray Sr. The featured artist this year is James R. Jacobs, a graduate of Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, CA and student of Mr. Edward Loper Sr.
Other participating Artists include Bill Dandridge, Rodger Thomas, Frederick West, Knicoma Fredrick, and others.
The participating youth of ICIW are encourage to develop small business ventures within their neighborhood in order to enhance their understanding of math, basic finance, and science through practical application.
They are also involved in the group’s community gardening program that teaches them about nature, economics, and teamwork.
ICIW firmly believes that mothers, fathers, and the entire community need to get involved with youth.
