Tony Luke's in Chester

Tony Luke’s has arrived in Chester on the 2nd floor of Harrah’s Philadelphia.
I tried them out today only to find that they’re not serving  roast beef sandwiches here. They have roast pork, though. Since a lot of Chester folks aren’t pork eaters, you’ll probably stick with their steaks and chicken cutlets.
After I finished my rant about not having roast beef, I ordered the cheese steak with sharp provolone, fried onions, sweet roasted peppers, and broccoli rabe.
It was delicious.
Don’t look for a cheese steak done Chester style with the chopped meat and out of the jar peppers. Just go with Tony’s way and I’m sure you’ll enjoy.
If you like Krispy Cream doughnuts, they are next to Tony Luke’s at the same counter. I prefer Phatso’s, but if I get a late night craving, you just may see me scoffing down a low fat glazed doughnut.

  1. Low fat glazed doughnut, right? Better off going with the pork for protein instead of pure sugar.

    1. The line of people ordering food was constant. Harrah's may finally have the food thing right. I gotta try the BBQ joint next. Heard their wings are great.

  5. I had the Roast Pork and it was terrible!! The roll was soaked in graby and it was so soggy that it not edible. Tony, get down to Harrah's and square that operation away!
