State prepping to take over Chester-Upland


Does the school board really have a choice? 
Look for the Chester-Upland School District to be under greater state oversight once it’s declared as ‘distressed’ this summer. 
Is this a good or bad thing?

    Well if it didn't work with the State taking over for 20yrs.....why not give it another try...it's not going to work again and then they will be able to dissolve the school district like they tried to do earlier in the year...only this time it can happen behind Chester's back in their face....but atleast the masses can go to the Basketball games for one more year since that's all that brings the masses out for the schools
