    1. Where would you suggest it be held in Chester?

    2. Honoring people from Chester should take place in Chester. Ms. Glover said, "What Chester makes, makes Chester", PPl Park, Widener, Harrahs...

    3. I hope you are not serious!

How many Chester honorary banquets have been held at the Ramada and the Radison in Essington; the Crown Plaza on Naamans Road; the Boothwyn Fire House; and at hotels in King of Prussia?

PPL Park? Who would have an event on the soccer field?

Harrah's? You can't rent their rooms unless you are going to eat and drink. This was not a banquet. It was a concert and Harrah's Ball Room is a horrible place to have a concert. Let's not consider the cost.

'When Chester Makes...' a catering hall and a concert hall, you'll see a lot more events being held in Chester.

For concerts, Wideners Alumni Hall is nice but has limited seating. Chester High School was nice but a lot of seats are broken (and plastic) and they would have to update all the stage lighting - no spotlights worked at Chester Idol.

Think before you comment, unless you were joking.

      It was a bad joke.

  2. You are a bad joke! Chester should support Chester instead of all these place you listed. The Ramada Inn does get a lot of money from Chester and they serve horrible food.

According to you, we should just fence Chester in and not let anyone out who lives here for any reason.

There is a world outside of Chester.

    2. Supporting Chester businesses does not mean fencing Chester in. The violence alone do that for Chester. There is a world outside of Chester. That's what the rest of us is afraid of.

  3. The event was really nice...Grand Opera House is a nice venue. Hopefully it will become an annual event and more people will support the event and attend. Stefan has a valid point on the locations options.
