Delaware County residents are being asked to take an anonymous online public survey to guide county Planning and Parks departments in the development of its Open Space, Recreation and Greenway Plan.
Responses will help planners know the recreational preferences of county residents, their experiences with the county parks system and their opinions on actions the county could take in the coming years in regards to these matters.
The first multiple choice question asks, “What experiences are you looking for when visiting parks or recreation areas?” Another question states that Delaware County currently spends $2.77 per person, per year, on county parks then asks “How willing are you to use Delaware County tax dollars to pay for parks, open space and recreation?”
