Syracuse University fan site critical of PPL Park

(PPL Park) sits along the Delaware River on the fringe of the city under the massive Commodore Barry Bridge linking Chester to southern New Jersey, so that poses a nice backdrop.
Unfortunately, that’s about the only nice backdrop in urban Chester, and likely the reason why the NCAA apparently didn’t want to be associated with the city name as well as promoting the bigger “Philadelphia Market.” It explains Chester’s absence from the tournament bracket.

  1. Articles and perceptions like this are why I am working on ways to make the city a better place.

    1. Image! There has never been enough (any) push back from city government. It's called Reputation Management. Maybe someday.

  2. I think you're missing the point of the article. It's saying that the NCAA is ashamed of Chester. It put Philadephia as the host site not Chester, which is what I am upset about.

  3. I think you're missing the other point of the article... the NCAA is also ashamed of Chester. That's why they said the game was being played in Philadelphia and not here. THAT is what is frustrating about the article, not the Syracuse angle.
