Dental clinic opens Friday on west side

There’s a reason to smile in Chester these days. And the smiles will be brighter and healthier than ever before.

That’s because there’s a new facility in Chester that local residents can go to in order to receive quality dental care for minimal cost.

Located at the World Impact building at 700 Central Avenue, the Grace Dental Clinic will serve the needs of Chester residents that require dental care but cannot afford it on their own.

Thanks to a generous donation by godly saints and supporters, Lynne and Foster Friess, this clinic has been equipped with state of the art dental equipment, x-ray machines, and two dental chairs. Dental services will be provided by volunteer dentists and hygienists, who have agreed to work at the Grace Dental clinic every Friday free of charge.

World Impact Chester Director Andrew Lee anticipates that many from the community will benefit from this new facility. “We look forward to serving the residents of Chester through Grace Dental.

Through the generosity of volunteer dentists, hygienists and donors, we can provide quality dental care with state of the art equipment at costs as low as $10 per visit. Our desire as World Impact is to share Christ’s love in a tangible way in Chester as well as empower urban leaders through our ministries. We believe that the Grace Dental Clinic will be a great way to do this and open doors for leaders in our community to learn about our other ministries.”

Ribbon cutting ceremonies will take place on Friday April 6th, at 1 pm at Grace Dental. If you are interested in attending, please call (610) 872-9220 or email Christie at cthawley@worldimpact.org.

World Impact Ministries has been serving the community of Chester since 1988. World Impact’s main mission is to facilitate church planting movements. Among its many ministries, the Frederick Douglass Christian School is the most visible and is located at the same site as the Grace Dental Clinic. World Impact is also involved in Bible Studies, Seminary Training, Prison ministry, Christian mentoring, Homework Clubs, After School Program, Men's basketball and more. 2. I wish it were open to residents in Delaware County, but I can understand that it may not be able to take that kind of capacity. Wonderful idea and thank you to the volunteers:-)
