Brotherly Love and SheWho in concert March 10

Brotherly Love and SheWho will join vocal forces at 7:30 p.m. March 10 as part of the Music Out Loud benefit concert series in Media at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Delaware County.
Brotherly Love is the select ensemble of the Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus. The 18 members’ repertoire includes a broad range of music, from sacred music to folk songs and newly commissioned works.
SheWho is an a cappella ensemble celebrating women’s voices, promoting social change and justice, and respecting differences and the importance of loving women.

Discount tickets, $16 and $8 (students), are available online at: www.brownpapertickets.com/event/222806. They’re also available at church after the 9:15 and 11:15 a.m. Sunday services (cash and checks only).
At the door, tickets are $20 and $10 for students with ID (cash and checks). Children 12 and younger admitted free.

Proceeds benefit the PRYSM Youth Center of Delaware County, which  provides a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment for LGBT youth (ages 14-20) where they can regularly meet. It also provides social, educational and supportive activities, with opportunities for outreach, activism and leadership development.

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Delaware County (uucdc.org) is at 145 W. Rose Tree Road, two blocks west of Route 252. For more information, call 484-431-3524.
The concert, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Delaware County, is sponsored by Interweave, the church’s Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender, Queer and Allies group.

  1. PPL parking lots are no longer the only game in town. TIBC Depot Partners, LP are opening four new parking lots in very close proximity to the PPL Park. This is a first rate operation and these lots will be well lit, and offer secured parking. The biggest plus is the easy ingress and egress before and after a game. No more waiting game getting in and out of the parking lots at a Union game. Look for the bright red and white TIBC EVENT PARKING signs with entrances on Flower and Reaney Streets.
