The Brothers of Concern and Single Mothers Are Really Trying are presenting “Real Men Really Read: We’re Taking A Lead” on March 5 at 6 p.m. at the Literacy Council, 2100 Providence Road.
The embarrassment of being illiterate is a significant barrier. They also said improving literacy is essential to improving Chester’s violence and economic hardships.
