Members of the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives rejected the hot button “school voucher” plan that would’ve provided public dollars to help impoverished youth in failing districts in Pennsylvania to leave their districts and attend more competitive public, private, and charter schools. According to reports, it is unlikely that this bill will be revisited until the end of 2012’s final legislative session, at the earliest.
