Edward T. Coleman, Chief Executive Officer, announced that the Community Action Agency of Delaware County, Inc. (CAADC) recently received a $2,500 donation from the Sovereign Bank Foundation to support financial literacy efforts in Delaware County.
CAADC will use the support to assist economically disadvantaged residents to develop basic personal financial management skills, offer free tax preparation services and provide additional support programs.
Mr. Coleman stated “With these difficult economic times, we need our community partners more than ever in order help low-income persons facing hardships. The Sovereign Bank Foundation is committed to assisting their community and this grant will help many families develop the financial skills to succeed.”
