School Board Meeting tonight (Thursday 6pm)

My name is Desire Grover and I am forwarding to you this important information about the School Board meeting tonight @ 6:00 PM. 

I am asking that you participate in a very critically & important action tonight in order to better the chances of getting our Public School System back on track! 

During this period of crisis for our school district it is highly important that we have the right type of leadership guiding the ship through the storms ahead of us. 

Due to this reality other community members and myself will be calling for Solicitor Leo Hackett and Board President Wanda Mann to step down from their post, resign or both. 

Below are 6 reasons for why we are demanding that they step down.

1. We believe that Solicitor Leo Hackett must step down and resign because he gave misguided legal advice to the Board that resulted in the withholding of 1 million dollars from the school district at a critical time.

2. We believe that Wanda Mann must step down as President because while under her poor leadership the Board used unqualified substitutes instead of qualified teachers for a long term period while failing to provide “required” classes for graduating seniors.

3. We believe that Wanda Mann must step down as President because while under her poor leadership the Board shutdown the Allied Health School and merged it with Science & Discovery High School without a backup plan.

4. We believe that Wanda Mann must step down as President because while under her poor leadership the Board has allowed unofficial information to given through principals rather than putting it in writing.

5. We believe that Wanda Mann must step down as President because while under her poor leadership the Seniors of Science & Discovery are going through their year unsure about their future and whether they will graduate with a full 23 credits.

6. We believe that Wanda Mann must step down as President because she has proven to be totally unprofessional in how she engages parents, students and concerned residents by cussing & swearing at attendees after a school board meeting. Where is her professionalism?
