ELECTION 2011: Is it all about the money?

You don’t have to be a genius to see who has more money to spend on the election - the Republicans, by far.
Does it come down to voting for the party with access to a lot of resources versus the party that will struggle because they have so little?
The Yankees and Phillies have a lot of resources, yet, they both lost in the first round, so money can’t guarantee you victory.
Many of the issues facing Chester will require money. Fixing the schools, removing old buildings, improving storm sewers, repairing bridges, building new homes, providing recreation, securing more police, and so on.
The Republicans have been doing very well bringing new money to Chester. More importantly, they have managed our money so well that we have a balanced budget. Even President Obama can’t make that claim.
In all the lunacy of this election season, one thing is abundantly clear. The Republicans have access to money and they find a way to do it without raising our taxes.
To a lot of people, that is not a factor in who they will vote for, but maybe it should be.
As Gustavo says in the TV show Breaking Bad, ‘It’s easy to manage your money when you don’t have any. It takes effort to manage money when you have a lot.’
One party brings you Johnny Gill, the other, The Trammps.
It’s all about what you’re willing to put up with.
