ELECTION 2011: The Gentleman's Debate is On

Chip 'n' Dale remind me of the Mayoral candidates. They are both so polite and gentlemanly that I can't image them disagreeing about anything

The Overtown Express was the first to announce that candidates have agreed to a debate later this month.
For many of the issues facing Chester, it would take over an hour to discuss each of them individually. But, there seems to be interest in staging a debate where the candidates will squeeze it all in in a single hour.
I can’t image that too much will be covered in such a short time.
Since Councilman Linder and Mayor Butler have voted the same on over 95% of the city council resolutions, I doubt if there will be much variety in how they answer their questions.
And, since both men are such gentlemen, I anticipate that there won’t be any sparks flying between the two of them.
This blog will be presenting the important issues over the next few weeks and all of you can join the discussion. We can debate on this blog to prepare ourselves for the live debate.
Since you won’t have much time to ask questions at the live debate (if they even allow the audience to ask questions) this blog may be your best vehicle to share information and get answers in order to make an informed decision on election day.
Join the discussion.
