Delaware County has instituted a new Veterans Treatment Court program.
Assistant District Attorney Sam Yim is the representative of the Office of the District Attorney to the Veterans Treatment Court.
Sam has reached out to military organizations in an effort to find military veterans willing to serve as mentors to fellow veterans entangled in the criminal justice system. Sam has taken a special interest in this initiative, because he is a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve Judge Advocate General's Corps.
The mentors support and guide veterans struggling with life after the military.
