Chester YWCA does Yoga on Tuesdays

YWCA Chester Announces “Tough It Out” Tuesdays

Chester, PA – The YWCA Chester is pleased to announce its current Tough It Out Tuesdays community programs available for women, men and children in Chester City and the surrounding communities.  Every Tuesday “Hatha Yoga” class with Ms. Kristin, a certified yoga instructor who shares her expertise with children 2:00pm-3:00pm and adults 3:00pm-4:00pm is offered, unless otherwise posted. Yoga is available for everyone. All you need to practice yoga is your breath. Even if you have limited mobility, impaired vision, etc.  Through regular practice of yoga, your awareness starts to increase, the postures (asanas) make the body strong and the breathing exercises bring focus and concentration to the mind. This ´union´ brings balance and contentment to your whole being.

Additionally, supporting the YWCA Chester's Domestic Violence Prevention Initiative the self defense classes are based on the martial art of Jujitsu -- the proven method of self-protection  Focus on teaching basic physical skills fast using a simple "transfer training method". Learn one move which can make a difference in a sexual or physical assault. Learn self defense moves quickly and easily regardless of your athletic abilities!  Come out and learn today...and keep for life!

The YWCA Chester is located at 4 East 7th Street, Chester, PA.  To reserve your space for Tough It Out Tuesdays hatha yoga or self defense class, you MUST call or email the YWCA Chester at 610-876-8226 or ywcachester@comcast.net.
