Help for addicted teens

MEDIA, PA— Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems is introducing Teen-Intervene - an evidence-based intervention program for teenagers, ages 12-19, experiencing mild to moderate problems associated with alcohol or other drug use.

The program is completed in three 75-minute sessions, including one family meeting. The goals of Teen-Intervene are to understand the individual reasons for alcohol or drug involvement, to learn new skills that promote healthier behaviors, to increase willingness to change behavior related to alcohol or other drug use, and to take responsibility for self-change.

Please note that this program is not appropriate for youth who have a substance dependence disorder, those who are using daily, or teens who have an untreated psychiatric disorder, such as major affective disorder or psychosis.

The cost of this program is $225.00 and this includes two adolescent-only meetings and one family meeting. To schedule an appointment with a trained Intervention Specialist, please call us at 484-444-0412.
