I’d call it a tie.
I can’t stand Madea, but I love Tyler Perry. In my opinion, they are mutually exclusive of one another.
Perry has made the movie industry respect his $25 million opening weekends on movies that he never loses money on. His movies may not appeal to the masses, but his fans and his bank accounts could care less.
As far as Madea goes...well, if it keeps workin’, gurl, keep it comin’. You obviously don’t need my $10 to make it happen.
No but he got my $11 with pleasure. I love Tyler Perry's movies. I usually don't rush out for the Madea Movies. I am glad I waited this weekend when the crowds died down. The movie was great. It made me laugh and of course cried in the end. It made a very good point in how we are raising our kids and how we communicate with each other. Good Job Tyler Perry!!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't like this movie at all. I'm done giving Madea my $$$$$.
ReplyDeleteI saw Madeas Happy Family this afternoon and I have to say this movie has something for everyone. It was mixed with serious life issues, parenting, spirituality and downright hilarious humor. Tyler Perry is a genuis.
