Election season is finally heating up in Chester

ATTENTION CITY OF CHESTER DEMOCRATIC VOTERS

Primary Election Day is May 17, 2011 and is the most critical election since 2008 for the City of Chester. The endorsed Democratic candidates need your support in the primaries. The Pennsylvania Constitution, Article 1 Section 2 regarding Political Powers states: "All power is inherent in the PEOPLE and all FREE governments are founded on THEIR AUTHORITY and instituted for THEIR peace, safety and happieness. For the advancement of these ends THEY have AT ALL TIMES an inalienable and indefeasible right to ALTER, REFORM or ABOLISH THEIR government as THEY may think proper."

There is a song that says "...you got to give the PEOPLE, give the PEOPLE what they want..." This is your opportunity to exercise your POWER and to elect a government that will respect your FREEDOMS as stated in this constitution.

Some republicans have cross-filed and will show on the ballot as democrat. Don't be misinformed, these are the ONLY endorsed Democratic candidates running on the Democratic ticket

John Linder for Mayor
Elizabeth "Liz" Williams for City Council
Nafis Nichols for City Council
Edith Blackwell for City Controller
Anthony Johnson for School Board
Charlie L Warren II for School Board
Bettie J McClairen for School Board
Cephus Richardson for School Board
Patricia "Pat" Worrell for Magisterial District Judge, Wards 9, 10 & 11

We thank you and appreciate your support! For more information on all the candidates to go www.chestercitydems.com
