Black Women of Delco Honored April 9th

The National Congress of Black Women Delco Chapter has selected the following
women for our Celebration of Women's History Month and the theme this year is "
Women Making History Now ":

Dr Joyce Wells , Acting School Superintendent
Dr. Patricia Steinberg, Entrepreneur
Mrs. Alfreda Reed, Community Activist
Ms. Carmen Wilson, Mentor

NCBW has chosen the above women who have made significantly diverse differences
in the lives of many many individuals and organizations. These women will be
profiled in the Chester Spirit Newspaper, March 23, 2011 edition and honored at
our Sojourner Truth Celebration on April,9,2011 at 10:00am.  This event will be
held at Trinity Episcopal Church located at Chester Rd, and College Ave.,
Swarthmore, Pa.

The keynote speaker for this event is Judge Doris Smith-Ribner, Former Ltd.
Governor Candidate for the State of Pennsylvania. The cost of this event will be
defrayed by Mercy Keystone Health Systems and if you plan to attend, please RSVP
by April 1, 2011.  Seating is limited

The Executive Board is requesting each member to contribute $10.00 toward
expenses for the event and please make checks payable to NCBW Delco Chapter,
P.O. Box 1112, Brookhaven, Pa. 19015.
