Mr. Jeff, from Woodlyn Cleaners, has asked my pre-season prediction the last couple seasons, and this year he said he'd bet on me since I'm 2 for 2. Back in November, I told him Chester is the team to beat in the States this year. Looks like most of you think my streak will continue.
It's been a long time since Chester had so many good big players. What they lack at point guard they make up at point forward. Unlike some of the good teams of the past, this team has no mercy. If you don't belong on the court, they'll let you know right away. None of that down-to-the-wire mess with inferior teams here.
Two things could trip them up. One, their aggressive defense. They bump & grind like it's legal. Some refs don't understand that style of play. Two, we miss a lot of foul shots. In a close game, it could be the difference.
Otherwise, save your pennies and plan to get that new outfit for the parade.
