Get Money for College

Getting financial aid can be a major barrier preventing prospective students at every level from enrolling in college programs.  All federal aid, state aid, student loans, and many scholarships are awarded only after applicants successfully file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
As those who have completed the form on their own behalf or mentored students and families through the process understand, completing the form is very challenging.
More so, many people submit their FASFA with errors that may result in not getting full financial awards or having their award dates postponed, which may results in students starting late or not having enough funds for books, etc.
There is a critical need to assist more parents and students in completing their FASFA than ever before due to our current economy.
The College Planning Community (CPC) is again sponsoring the FAFSA Application Completion Workshop on Saturday, February 26th at Delaware Technical & Community College- Wilmington Campus from 9am – 1pm.
Attached is the flyer along with checklist.  We encourage both student and parent(s) to attend with the required documents.
There will be three sessions 9am , 10:30am  and 12pm.
Please  call  302- 421-9927 or email  me no later than February 11th  with the following:    Student and Parent Names w/email(s) and contact phone number(s), and Session time requested.
