Chester, Pa. – In closing Black History Month celebrations The Black Student Union at Widener University, along with the Widener chapter of the NAACP, and the History Club will present an evening of expression in honor of African American Culture.
What: “Expressions of African American Culture”
Where: Alumni Auditorium, Widener University
(14th Street, between Chestnut Street and Melrose Avenue)
When: Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011, 7 p.m.
Why: The closing event of Black History Month, sponsored by three
student groups at Widener will include African dance, gospel choir,
spoken word, and contemporary dance to honor the African American
culture.
The event is open to the community.
