Franklin Institute hosts African American scientists The Franklin Institute will sponsor The Color of Science a science forum featuring prominent African American scientists on Friday, February 11th at 5pm at the Institute, 20th Street and Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
The free event will be moderated by Chief Astronomer Derrick Pitts and feature presentations by Dr. Sharon Haynie of the DuPont Company, Dr. Chad Jenkins of Brown University, Dr. Edward Tunstel of NASA, and Professor James West of Johns Hopkins University.
