Chester unveils bust of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Thursday

WHAT: After several years of great anticipation, the City of Chester will unveil a bronze bust of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in honor of his life and important affiliation with the City, at a dedication ceremony on Thursday, November 18, 2010. Created by renowned sculptor Zenos Frudakis, the 5-foot bronze bust is the final phase of the city’s MLK Park, which serves as a memorial for the civil rights movement hero.
WHO: Mayor Wendell N. Butler, Jr., City Council, state and county officials, Senate Majority Leader Dominic Pileggi, State Representative Thaddeus Kirkland.
