Free Fun this Fall at Crozer Library
Chester, PA — October 18 — This fall, J. Lewis Crozer Library offers a variety of educational and entertaining programming for all ages. All programs are free; registration at (610) 494-3454.
Join us on Saturday, November 6th at 11:00a.m. for a Local Author Book Signing. Chester native Ieasa Nichols-Harmon will be discussing and reading from her first book, the just-released "A Day to Remember, A Lifetime to Heal: The Journey of the Child They Left Behind." Books will be available for purchase and light refreshments will be served.
Are your finances under control? Uncover the power of budgeting on Tuesday, November 9th at 6:00p.m at a Budgeting Workshop. Discover tips and tricks to get you started on developing a personal budget. Generously provided by the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Delaware Valley.
Families and kids of all ages are invited to celebrate National Library Gaming Day on Saturday, November 13th from 12:00 noon to 2:30p.m. Come out to the library for Board and Video Game Mania! Be sure to bring your family and friends!
On Tuesday, November 16th at 6:30p.m., local poet K.J. Sharpe will read from her collection of poems, prose, and essays entitled, "Sistah, Can You Feel Me." The poet will have copies of her book for sale. Light refreshments will be served.
Michael Jackson’s music lives on at the library during M.J. Day on Saturday, November 20th from 1:30-3:45p.m. Celebrate by wearing your favorite M.J. costume, glove, hat, or jacket as we watch a film chronicling Michael Jackson’s final tour preparations.
