Chester Republican Party head resigned?

Rumor has it that city Councilwoman Marrea Walker-Smith has resigned as head of the Chester Republican Party. Obviously that’s not true because someone would have sent me a press release.
Who knows the real skinny?

  1. I heard that it continued to be a struggle with Dominic Pileggi still be in charge of the party. She discovered that she was the boss on paper, but he was still pulling the strings at the county level. If this has happened, I am so disappointed in the black people in the Republican Party for allowing this to happen. He only stepped down because his being the boss hurt the Chester Republicans. Why can't the black people see that he does not mean Chester any good. If she is gone, then I am gone and a bunch of other people. She has been in and out of the hospital and off from City Hall, so I have not talk to her. This is so sad. The first black person to hold this position and she resigns. Pileggi needs to stay out of Chester. We are going to make a big issue about this and the Chester Republicans are going to be done. It aint going down like this.
