I know you think this is a joke but the U.S. Department of Justice is lookin' for fluent Ebonics speakers to fill jobs that will help them understand what folks be sayin' on the wire taps they be usin'.

  1. LOL! It's funny and sad at the same time! The DEA wants someone to decipher a recorded phone conversation through ebonics. I wonder how well that will hold up in court??? Go figure!

This is sad and pathetic, years ago when they first announced teaching ebonics in "schools" so that the children can feel comfortable learning the way the speak, I came out against it as did so many other parents...but as usual not enough of us spoke out or committed any action against it in our school districts because to this day not very many of our chhildren speak proper english....and now look at what it has caused the government to use my hard earn tax dollars to try and understand (wth) these children are saying. Good jobs parents for forgetting how to speak proper english yourselves and allowing your children to misspeak, not announciate, not pronounce, and all around mumble jibberish to the point where it is now another language.
    As a Black woman in America I AM TOTALLY DISSAPPOINTED AND OFFENDED!
