Queen Latifah and Black Gay Celebs

Did you see the pix of Queen La and her lover aboard the Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz marital yacht? I'm sure they are what prompted this story.

As it stands, our community’s dishonest and hypocritical look at religion and sex, be it heterosexual or homosexual, is at the heart of the explosion in sexually-transmitted diseases, with Washington, D.C. having the highest levels of HIV contraction in the entire world. It‘s about time for us to have an honest conversation about a few things. Don’t you think?

  1. I don't think the concern should be whether Queen Latifah decides to come out or not. I think women should be concerned with men that are on the "Down Low", men who have sex with other men and transmit HIV to women by having sex with them. Men on the down low are gay but are afraid to come out for whatever reason. They hide this fact by having sex with women. About 2/3 of women who are being cheated on don't know that their men are having sex with other men. Men on the down low should come out. This should lower the HIV cases in women.

  2. To each their own but please protect yourself!! As far as the Queen she needs to come out 100% the pictures are cirrculating like wild fire, there is no more denying it. Release a statement or appear on a show for damage control, think of all the endorsements and think of the status she has risen to on her own pure talent. She is not Ellen or Rosie and will not be treated like so.

  3. I do not think Queen is in denial. She has stated her preference on several occasions as has Wanda Sykes. No need for a big announcement. It is what it is. I will still watch her movies and buy her CDs.

  4. I don't care if Queen officially comes out or not. Do you need a press conference to announce that you are coming out? What I do care about is people who are in denial or cover up their sexuality by being dishonest to their significant others.

  5. Pity. None of the comments come clean, relative to the danger of mitigating against our Creator's plan for sex: That it be reserved for the sacred marriage bed, and that, between a loving man and wife; else, we reap what we sow.
