Chester City United along with the help of the Philadelphia Union, is participating in this year's Pepsi Refresh Project. If we win we will receive a $50,000 grant that will be used to build a soccer field in Chester. Currently, we have one small field that supports our program of more than 300 children. This September marks our first season as a travel club team and we are forced to be an "away only" team; meaning all of our games will be played outside of Chester. With the $50,000 grant we would be able to build a home field and reduce the impact of traveling on our parents. It will also give us a place to call home. We already have the location picked out and we have done the research. The grant would be more than enough for us to create a playable field.
