MLK Anti-Violence & Mentorship Festival

Saturday, June 19, Noon to 7pm, Memorial Park


This event is the follow up to our March & Rally so we are seeking 1,000 Men to come out and stand up with our women & children on that day. There will be community & guest speakers, a call for our men(young & older) to sign up with various mentoring agencies on site as we all come together to promote non-violence and the betterment of our community.You'll here from family members of slain loved ones and others who have been shot or effected severely do to senseless violence.


Then we will have a festive time and commemorate Dr. King with a day of Unity featuring: music & live performances, moon bounces & slides,carnival concessions and more. We are asking all to bring your tents & grills out for a complete family day of UNITY & Festivities!


This is also Father's Day Weekend & the day of Juneteenth which celebrates African American FREEDOM!


Ladies we will need your help bringing the fathers,uncles,brothers, nephews,cousins & more! I need 100 women & 100 men to each be responsible for bringing 5 men each young & old.
